The fifth retreat took place from 17.01.-19.01.2008 in Grainau, a village in the bautiful landscape of the bavarian Alps ca. 90 km south of Munich (

Our accomodation in Grainau was the "Seminarhaus Grainau" ( The program started with a team building workshop, which was focused on integrating the new participants, reviewing the first years of the program and renewing and phrasing the goals, we would like to achieve during the next years.

In addition we had a series of scientific talks of program members and an exalted time to discuss about the organisation of our doctorate program.
